WARNING: This is a serious article. I hope your feelings aren’t taken strongly about this. you will post in a mature way, rather than bash.

“Your nationality or your age does not matter” – Amber, from f(x) to promote SM Global Audition
In a way Amber, it does.
Imagine it this way. A K-Pop fan who has pretty good vocal and dancing skills believes he/she has a big ambition to debut in South Korea. Whether it’s as a solo artist or in a group with other people, it does not matter. He/she has a high hope of passing the audition and training under the enertainment company they have selected. The problem? The person is not accepted because they are not Asian or do no look Asian at all.
It may seem harsh, but if you think of it this way, Enertainment Global Auditions seem to only target Asian people however there are slim chances of other races getting in to be trainees at enertainment companies for example, I remember someone uploaded a YouTube video of three SM trainees, one of the girls was Half-Black, Half-Japanese but she didn’t look Asian at all.
A copy of an SM audition information form proves my point.

Before you may get excited, yes. Above is a picture of JQT and B2ST. But that’s not the point.
And no. It’s not happening…at least I don’t think so. and I doubt those three would do so.
This is all for fun, people so please comment.
There doesn’t seem to be a lot of thread posting here, obviously because we all have lives and are busy but I had thought of this idea for fun but, what if SM, JYP and YG created a group together consisting of one of the best trainees in each company for a member?
Of course, since we don’t know many of the trainees, I was wondering who people would put into a 3 member girl group and/or boy group of SM/JYP/YG artists. It’s just for fun for people to do and it doesn’t matter how many members are in there.
There’s:
SM - DBSK, Super Junior, CSJH, SNSD, SHINee, f(x)
JYP/Cube - Wonder Girls, 2PM, 2AM, 4minute, BEAST
YG - Big Bang, 2NE1, Se7en
Anybody from the companies is fine. And make as many as you want. ^_^
For my choice, it would be:
Boy group – Taemin, Jaebeom, Taeyang.
Girl group - Sulli, Gayoon, Minzy.
Strange combination, I know but what are yours?

Is it me or are you scared? Is it a marketing stragtegy? Is Jaebeom coming back? Or is it 2PM bringing out a new album soon? Or, what if the heart is going to stop beating and there is no more 2PM?
I don’t know why but I have this deep feeling that Jaebeom is coming back. And the heartbeat sound is scary and makes my own heart beat the same way, the picture is exactly how I felt when Jaebeom felt and what would become of 2PM but now…

…in the USA, that is. Now I don’t live in America (instead I’m from London), but back in March, there was a quite buzz at the amount of several Asian Pop artists (three solo artists and one group) that I thought had a good 30% chance of breaking into America as an Asian artist, Sadly, it’s now October and it’s dropped to 5%. Why? I’ll tell you why…
I have to say that, for some reason people never seem to take well to asi ans in music. From what I’ve learnt over the years before and after listening to Asian music, Nationality is the issue. I hate to say it but it’s true. I don’t think Americans are very responsive to any sort of Asian artist/group. I mean, can you name any local Asian-American act that’s actually made it big? So the chances are probably slimmer than my predicted percentage.
I don’t live in America but I can tell you that if I ever saw BoA’s song, I wouldn’t give her a second glance, I would most possibly call her mixed-race which is…stupid. Yeah, and anyways living in London, some British people wouldn’t respond well too, especially how we don’t have enough asians over here too, the other day I showed my sister SHINee and she called them gay (You can imagine how pissed I was), she didn’t even let me explain that there are music differences in other cultures.
Here are some of the artists who, if they had planned their steps correctly, would have made a breakthrough into America.

It’s finally time to praise the companies who have decided to listen to my words and put out the boys for my our desire.

Yeah, I collaborated a great picture here, although I feel like Ayumi ruined it slightly. I haven’t posted a J-Pop post in a while so I felt like posting this.
You’re also probably thinking, Why has NyNy called them United 4? Well, in my opinion, I seem them as the 21st century queens of J-Pop, most no, all are going above 10 years in their careers and are doing well, (Koda Kumi’s 10th anniversary next year, YES!).

Top left: Namie Amuro
Middle Bottom: Koda Kumi
Top Right: Ayumi Hamasaki
Bottom Right: Utada Hikaru
For anyone who is not familar with them, they are (in my opinion), the four most popular female J-Pop singer-songwriters. In my opinion, they circulate different genres of J-Pop and if people ever thought of making the four do a song together, I would love to see it. Something like, “FUSION”. ¬_¬ Or something like that.
Debuts:
Namie Amuro: October 25, 1995
Ayumi Hamasaki: April 8, 1998
Utada Hikaru: December 9, 1998
Koda Kumi: December 6th, 2000
So, for anyone who doesn’t know, let me tell you a little about the four and hopefully you will like their style and start listening to their music.

There are so many situations that go in the J-Pop or (mostly) K-Pop world that so little words cannot express how I feel. So I decided to open up a short corner so readers can view my full response to show of the current matters going on. And the first…
…is about a guy named Jaebeom.
